Transit and Active Transportation, 4-Part Webinar Series

The APA Transportation Planning Division is offering a free webinar on November 20, 2025 at 10:00 am. Learn about how captive versus choice pedestrians differ in their needs, and how disparities justify improved infrastructure and safety measures. The second authors will present on how 15-minute cities are being implemented throughout the United States, with a focus on equity, pedestrian experience and safety. The greater Charlotte region’s transit plan will be evaluated to assess accessibility, burdens and sustainable options across the region. Lastly, a planner in a Midwest college town will present on their analysis of a privately-owned dockless bikeshare program and how it impacted transportation mobility for different portions of their community. Register here and learn more about the webinar series on the conferences and events webpage.
